Good Morning, Traders!…👋
U.S. stock futures climbed early Friday, pushing the S&P 500 and Nasdaq toward fresh record highs as investors braced for a pivotal inflation update and potential policy signals from the Federal Reserve.
The May reading of the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index—widely considered the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge—is due at 8:30 a.m. ET. The data will be closely watched for signs of whether inflation remains under control, especially as President Donald Trump's tariffs continue to influence pricing dynamics.
Adding to the optimistic tone, the White House announced a breakthrough agreement with China to accelerate rare earth shipments to the U.S., easing trade tensions ahead of Trump’s July 9 tariff deadline. Investors will also keep an eye on the final June consumer sentiment reading from the University of Michigan at 10:00 a.m. ET, alongside remarks later in the day from key Fed officials, including John Williams, Beth Hammack, and Lisa Cook.
Earnings Watch
Earnings hit today from Apogee Enterprises $APOG before open, plus Nike $NKE, Concentrix $CNXC, Enerpac Tool Group $EPAC, and American Outdoor Brands $AOUT after close.
Analysts expect APOG to post $0.50 EPS with glass products demand steady but down 65.28% year-over-year, NKE to deliver $0.85 EPS amid cautious consumer sentiment, CNXC to reflect growth in customer experience solutions, EPAC at stable industrial tool performance, and AOUT with outdoor product sales under seasonal pressure.

📈 CYN (Cyngn Inc.): Soaring +51.69% at $13.60 on colossal volume (3.8M shares, +83,485.73% from typical). This massive surge follows yesterday's news of a $15 million registered direct offering and an Nvidia CEO mention, igniting significant interest. Expect high volatility.
📈 GVH (Globavend Holdings Limited): Up +27.17% at $0.1785 with exceptional volume (36.64M shares, +8,344.48%). This penny stock's drastic volume spike indicates a potential catalyst; highly volatile.
📈 RCT (RedCloud Holdings plc): Gaining +11.03% at $1.43 on strong volume (479.4K shares, +2,853.08%). RedCloud's launch of its "TradeX" program, addressing supply chain inefficiencies in emerging markets, is likely fueling this move.

📈 RVPH (Reviva Pharmaceuticals Holdings, Inc.): Up +6.15% at $0.3580 with notable volume (117.38K shares, +1,686.07%). While its percentage gain is smaller, the volume jump suggests early positioning, possibly after positive long-term Phase 3 results for its schizophrenia drug, though recent financing efforts may weigh on the stock.
